Registration Information

You are not required to register or provide any personal information in order to visit our website and/or view certain resources available on it. However, we may offer you the opportunity to subscribe to our mailing list. Although registration is not required to browse our website, in order to access course resources or use other services that may be offered through our site, you will be required to register and create an account with LingoPRO.

During the creation of your Account, you will be asked to provide a variety of personal data, such as your first and last name, a username (in this case, your email address), the country where you reside, your phone number, and a password. In some cases, you may also be asked to provide additional information, such as age and gender, in order to receive more information about our services and so that we may verify whether your age is compatible with our services, as well as confirm whether the gender information provided is accurate when you register to use our services, such as accessing one of the available classes.

In addition, if you purchase the Service, before using it you will need to provide your credit card information and billing address. If you authorize us to do so, we will store your billing information in our database in order to facilitate the verification process for future transactions, always in compliance with the rules established by credit card companies.

To create a LingoPRO Account, receive informational materials, or participate in certain promotions (sweepstakes, contests, surveys, etc.), in addition to information such as your email, name, and address, we may request certain information that does not personally identify you on its own, such as details about your education, preferences, consumption habits, and so on. Through your responses, we will be able to better understand you and may notify you about new services, programs, or offers that may interest you.

Automatic Data Collection

You may visit our website and use some of our services anonymously. However, whether or not you register with us, LingoPRO may collect information regarding the use of our services that does not directly identify you, but may indirectly identify you if such information is analyzed together with additional information about you.

Once you have registered on our website, we may track and collect information about you, including your transactions with us, our partners, or others, as well as your patterns of use of the website, such as pages visited, searches performed, and time spent on our Website. If you contact us, we may keep a record of our correspondence.

Testimonials

LingoPRO may post testimonials from our customers on its websites, platforms, and social media channels (“Website”), as well as in advertising materials. By submitting a testimonial, post, comment, or any other type of content to LingoPRO, you authorize LingoPRO to publish such content on its Website, TV, or any other communication channels.

Please note that testimonials, posts, and comments published by LingoPRO will not directly identify the author of such testimonial, post, or comment.

Information Received from Our Partners

You may also separately provide personal information to third parties or websites that use our brand and through which we provide access to our service (“Partner Sites”). When you register on a Partner Site, you provide your username and password. Some of these Partner Sites or other websites may share this information with us.

You should review the Privacy Policy of these Partner Sites to understand how your personal data is processed by them.

In general, LingoPRO may use your information to provide and improve its Services. LingoPRO may share this information with service content providers, partners, and other entities, in a non-personal manner, in order to map demographic data, general user preferences, or for other purposes. This information may include usage and demographic data, but it will not include personal information (such as your email address).

As part of the Service, LingoPRO may provide you with feedback regarding your progress in the form of video messages hosted on third-party websites — which may also be accessible to other users on those platforms. Although these video messages will not identify you by name or image, you may choose not to receive them.

If you provide LingoPRO with personal information, we will take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect it.

If you request to receive information from our partners by selecting this option in the future, we may share your registration information and information regarding your transactions on our service with studios and/or their affiliates. If you access our service through a sponsored version of our website containing notices that such information will be shared with the sponsoring partner whose company name is displayed on the sponsored site, any personal or non-personal information collected may be shared with that partner. The purchaser, surviving company, or assignee will honor the commitments made under this Privacy Policy.

We do not share your credit card account information with Partner Sites or any third parties, except with order processing providers and credit card authorization services, as described below.

In order to keep you informed about our services, we may send emails and announcements necessary for the administration of our Website and Service. We may also offer users the option to subscribe to our mailing list in order to receive additional information about our Website, services, and offers, including services and offers from LingoPRO or its partners. Additionally, from time to time, we may allow you to choose whether you would like to receive communications from third parties with whom we maintain partnership relationships. You will always have the ability to change your preferences by accessing your LingoPRO account. Every marketing email sent by LingoPRO will include instructions on how to unsubscribe from our mailing list.

We work with third-party service providers that may provide services including website hosting, promotional activities, order processing, credit card authorization, data analysis, and other administrative services. Personal information, including financial information, may be shared with such third parties for the purpose of providing these services to you. We seek to impose confidentiality obligations on these service providers.

In addition, LingoPRO may use your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. We also reserve the right to disclose personal information to third parties when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, to enforce our Terms of Service, to protect the rights, property, or safety of LingoPRO or the public, to respond to emergencies, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

After the termination or deactivation of your account, LingoPRO, its affiliates, or its service providers may retain information associated with your profile for a commercially reasonable period for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.

LingoPRO may collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

To access the LingoPRO website and/or application;
To create an account on the LingoPRO website and/or application;
To process payment for services contracted by the user;
To monitor user satisfaction regarding the contracted services;
To ensure the security of the website and/or application.

LingoPRO will rely on Contract Performance or Preliminary Procedures and Credit Protection as legal bases for carrying out the personal data processing activities described above.

The personal information that may be collected includes: registration data such as name, CPF number, address, email address, date of birth, payment information (including credit card data), account login credentials and password, and/or data related to browsing history on the LingoPRO website.

We use security measures to protect the data stored on our servers. However, since no security system is completely impenetrable, we cannot guarantee the security of our servers. It is also possible that information you provide to us may be intercepted during transmission.

Whenever you provide LingoPRO with personal financial information (for example, credit card numbers), LingoPRO will take commercially reasonable steps to protect such information by establishing a secure connection with your web browser. LingoPRO uses an industry-standard technology known as Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) to protect the transmission of payment information to the website. Please do your part to help us protect your information. To help safeguard your LingoPRO account information, keep your password secure. Your password will be stored in our system in encrypted form because LingoPRO understands that your privacy is important to you. If you forget your password, LingoPRO will generate a link for you to create a new password and send it to the email address associated with your account. This process will not affect your settings in any way.

We recommend choosing a non-obvious password that combines letters and numbers. Additionally, we recommend that you do not share your password with anyone. Finally, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your passwords and any information related to your LingoPRO Account.

Remember to log out of your LingoPRO Account and close your browser window whenever you leave your computer. This helps ensure that others cannot access your personal information, especially if the computer is accessible to others or used in a shared environment.

LingoPRO’s Privacy Policy does not extend to anything inherent to the functioning of the Internet that is beyond LingoPRO’s control, and it shall not be applied in any manner contrary to applicable laws or government regulations.
